day seven! this day was actually wild: • coded for 2.7 Hackatime hrs on the game (it might not seem like much, but considering I had training and school from 8:15AM to 3:45PM that's pretty crazy) • pretty cool training, getting ready for a race this saturday got a lot of progress on my game (which I'm doing together with @KittyCat -- she's doing the art and maybe some coding as well)

day 8/50 • cleaned up the anicept cel printhead a little bit to make the parts easier to print • started renovating the X axis - I think I'm making pretty awesome progress!!! • crashed out at school

Day 6 1. Went into school early to study for my afternoon Level 3 Economics exam (Year 13 exam, I’m in Year 12) 2. Had my exam! It went pretty well and I think that was an excellence! 3. Yo Hack Club! 😎 So I hopped into the 50-Day Challenge with a couple of goals that I really wanna lock in before the year ends, and honestly… it’s been going well so far. My goals are: 1. To build a solid robotics team at my school. 2. Make better use of GitHub and jump into more collab projects 3. Level up my web dev skills + overall tech stack And today I’m hyped to share a little win: I just crossed 400 GitHub contributions! project fortify, the alternative siege client! i focused on making a my SPACE page (cue theme) and building @Fortify , a bot that goes with the website. hopefully it'll support most of the features on the website! • attended an admissions officer meeting for a school i applied to • worked a bit on @jollyrogerbay my bot, adding a presence watch feature ~~to stalk people~~ and a handy /jinfo command to get IDs of users and channels

Day 3/50 I worked on learning lua syntax at school, since I want to use lua for another one of the command line games i want to make + eventually make Roblox games. Not technically a book but I finished reading a webtoon today (in one day too). I’m going to submit it as a credit for the school program as well to get more points.

50 days challenge ❄️ Daily update #2 | Streak: 2 days :3 Stuff I did for my goals • I solved 50+ integrals today and I'm finally getting it a little bit now (my last bit of work is attached where I absolutely lost my mind and doodled something random). In the mix: Riemann sums, trapezoid rules, definite integrals, limit definitions, using geometry to get the integrals, piecewise integrals, additive integral properties, and transformations... • I went to my university for an AIChE (american institute of chemical engineers) meetup and got a sticker + 2 free slices of pizza • Got 3,555 steps today cus it was very busy with my 5 credit hour chem class at uni Productive stuff in general (kind of fulfills goal #1 to work on what "serves me") • I took my AP Bio and Spanish tests today • I edited a video of my school's Diwali celebration which had hundreds of students involved during lunch! I'm an executive board member for the organizing club and it was really cool to see everything come together • I revised an abstract for a small research project I'm working on and coordinated with my team members on what to do next. It's about nanoparticles! • I wrapped up the student representative application I mentioned yesterday with 2 more big essays and revising the previous ones! Nice stuff • I am seriously behind on the apps that my friends are installing these days because I used to have an iPhone 6s and it wouldn't lemme download any apps because they upgraded iOS and I have full storage... but I got a refurb iPhone 14 because my previous phone crashed and wouldn't get any messages and its AWESOME • I downloaded Spotify today and man it is way more convenient than what I used to do by making playlists on YouTube on my computer... I have a debate tournament on Saturday so I have to lock in and work on a lot of prep tomorrow, wish me luck!

50 days challenge ❄️ Daily update #1: November 11, 2025 | Streak: 1 day :3 Stuff I did for my goals • I finally figured out Riemann sums! Attached is a picture of my successful work after a long time of toil and not getting what this is bro (everyone says I'm a natural 'slowpoke' at math) • I worked on redesigning social media posts for a small news organization I'm a director for, to stand out more and take less time to create each week! • It was snowing and really cold but I went out for a run and got 5,000 steps! (not including during the day because I use my phone to track steps and can't have phones at school. but in general I don't exercise much since I'm a couch potato and I want to change that) Productive stuff in general (kind of fulfills goal #1 to work on what "serves me") • I completed my AP economics homework a day early • I did my university chemistry homework 2 weeks early • I made a 10 page study guide for my AP bio unit test and reviewed lecture slides, attached a preview of my study guide because I'm happy with it • I wrote two 1,000 word essays for an application to represent my school at the board of education Nice stuff • I went to study at the cafe today and got a croque monsieur bread • There was a nice deal for a slice of green tea cake and a latte for $9 so I got those for tomorrow's study treat • Me and my friend's project involving building a plane is showing signs of life (the prototype is looking promising) • I got to know a kid in this AP computer science principles class that I'm the teaching assistant for and bro is in calculus in 9th grade...

Day 1/50! Today I've: • Done ~1 hour of work on my games for #C09EZSEMB16|. I got a friend to play through my platformer and by the way she was struggling I can see that I need to make the player movement and level design a lot more forgiving. Also massively reduced the CPU usage of my Hackatime desktop pet • Spent most of the day studying physics at school with a mate, now doing past papers in preparation for tomorrow (Feeling confident for Mechanics, less so for Electricity) • Sat a practice test for my licence exam and got 33/35!

I think the strat is just to spam practice exams until I feel confident enough to do the actual exam • Cleared out my Anki backlog for Japanese

Learned how to do a raspberry pi 4 setup headless cause I don’t have a microusb cable and found it that it can be used over my school blocking & remotely in general :)

Good morning everyone! (oh shoot, it's actually 4pm here rn... it still feels like morning lol) Yesterday Luca ( @Slloom ) and I finished the boba drops workshop with our club! (Almost) everyone was able to submit, but hopefully everyone else will be able to submit it within a few days. Shoutout Natalie (@?) who went above and beyond on her website and kept adding to it in between meetings! Check it out here! I think Luca and I will plan to do swirl in the next few meetings, and then maybe we'll start to introduce limited time YSWSs. I've made some more updates to my personal website, mostly aesthetic. I moved The Ghost to a secondary page so the main page can be more of an intro. I've got a small About Me, some links, and a projects section. I want to set that bit up like the SoM projects page: image, description, links, etc. but I'm not sure how... Yet. Apart from that, I think I'll try to do Blueprint, since I never got to submit the project I made for Highway, but I may not get to it till after Nov 9 when I finish the play I'm part of, The Play That Goes Wrong. I'd like to do Moonshot, since I really enjoyed Juice, but my parents don't want me to go to any more travel HC events after Neighborhood (even though I wasn't there), which I get for safety reasons, but also I've found no other organization that does what HC does in terms of travel events. Maybe in a year or so, if HC implements enough safety policies and such to my parents satisfaction, I'll be able to go to another. We'll see. (If someone at HQ wants to hear what safety stuff, dm me, cuz I'm sure other parents would want them as well) Anyways, on a completely separate note, Everyone keeps mishearing "Hack Club" as "Hat Club" so I wonder if we should rename the club from a very boring school-name-hack-club to The Mad Hackkers. What do you think?

Luca ( @Slloom ) and I hosted our first ever Hack Club meeting on 9/25! We had way more interest than we expected - 8 people! We handed out snacks and stickers, and then had everyone get Github, VS Code, Slack, and generally get set up to code. Then on 9/30 we hosted a Boba Drops Workshop, and had even more people come - 10! Almost everyone finished the workshop in the time they could stay for (1-2 hours). It was super rewarding to see people who had literally never touched coding in their lives code a website they were proud of! There were a few who themed their websites around their favorite video games, and another kept working on it after and came up to me yesterday with a second page with lots of poetry :) It was cool to see how what they were passionate about leaked into what hopefully will become a new passion! Doing the Boba Drops workshop reminded me that I have a website that I should work on, but so far I've only made minor changes (I've been really busy with schoolwork and I'm in the school play!), so I'll save an update on that for another time. Keep an eye out for a post on 10/10 when we do demos of the websites people made!
