Day 29 of 50, I: • had some homework but not as much

day 29! went on a ski trip (well, technically a snowboard trip but that sounds weird so i'll just call it a ski trip where i snowboarded) to my local hill! schedule was school, then straight to the hill, then ride till 8pm, so I didn't really have any time to code today :( please enjoy another random image from my camera roll

day 25! halfway there!! yay!! helped my IRL friend with ~~bypassing school network restrictions~~ fighting against internet censorship, and did a bunch of AoC! completely reworked my day 5 solution so that it doesn't create a dictionary with hundreds of trillions of keys

did day 6 as well! i quite like my solution :3 also picked up some snowboard boots in preparation for going to my local hill next week!

Day 22 of 50, I: • had to redraw an entire poster (thankfully only in pencil without color), which took me many hours for some reason (and I'm still not done) 🖌 • didn't have a lot of homework 🎒 • had more than 20 Slack pings but like most of them were from #C09TXAZ8GAG| (yeah ik it's a private channel)

Day 22/50 Today's AoC was a pain but I managed to do it (i couldn't use my O(n**12) algo

I followed a tutorial on how to make a recursive tree a while ago and now I wanted to create something on my own

Made an outfit for roblox for the first time in months. I reminded myself of how cute it feels to take care of my group 💗 I want to get at least 2 outfits out per week • I broke my glasses and I glued them back together 🕶 •

Started a physics project/experiment for school • I did a work out! 🧘‍♀️

• went to visit someone's house for 5 hours, where I played 10 rounds of rummy and won the overall game (winning 3 rounds)

Day 16: • milkyway streak

Today I started to work on the art! • I finished the 1st week from a pre-uni math course 📝 (I was procrastinating it for so long) • I have an exam from the school administration on language and literature and I have to recap everything and memorize some quotes and verses 😪 I loved writing until last year but something shifted in me 💔 • I received my milkyway stickers!

I ordered a laptop case and it should arrive this week

Day 14 & 15/50 I've finally fixed onedrive-proxy, now, each times it try to use the azure sdk it will verify if its token is valid and refresh it if needed (check files.mathiasd.fr/books 👀) I also setup up Halloy to connect to the IRC and wow irc is so cool when you know it, we should fully move to it /j I did a presentation at school about IP and IP protocol, it was cool but we had someone useless in our group (he couldn't even login). I read the 2nd chapter of Refactoring English which is great too! and i've secretly uploaded some IT resources from school's public drive to my 1drv :3c

Days 12, 13, 14, and 15 of 50 (yeah I missed a bunch of days + also Slack migration), I: • don't have school until next Monday because of Thanksgiving break

• drove to Northern California for my brother's marching band state competition on Sunday; they got 2nd place

• stopped on the way at my friend's house for a sleepover on Saturday since the drive was like 4.5 hours

• woke up really late on Monday (like 11ish I think??) 🛏 • planned filming and stuff for my English video project on Monday 📜 • actually filmed the English video project clips on Tuesday (today) for 2 hours 📹 • went to the dentist for a normal checkup; everything's fine 🦷 • finished @ToneTagFramework(lraj23) , my Siege Week 12 project, on Saturday and Tuesday

• survived the Slack migration, but ended up joining the IRC anyways

Update for day 9-13 • School stuff • I didn’t spend as much time as I was planning to on my milkyway/midnight project (I only did about 3-4 hours) 😔 I was feeling rather tired and I was dreading looking at my screen for some reason. My eyes were closing on their own. • I lost my mimi streak

But Im restarting it today 💪 • I spent these days practicing some other hobbies of mine

I did some art and I went rollerskating in the parking lot

• On Friday I went out with my friend

We took some pretty pictures and we painted with coffee ☕ • On Saturday I went to an autumn bootcamp as a supervisor

Im ambassador in an IT organisation for teen girls in my country and this week it was my turn to take care of the in-person event 🌷 • On Sunday I spent most of the day at my grandparents’ house 👵

Day 13 of 50 days to 2026! I did a bunch of backend fixes and worked on security headers and various other things. It is all really boring work to talk about but I made a million commits and finished the two hour C++ rant I've been watching on youtube. I have a engineering presentation tomorrow which hopefully goes well but then the rest of the week is pretty light on school work! I'm hoping to do some experimenting with my handheld and see if I can get on a repeater tuesday or wednesday.

GUESS WHO SHIPPED THEIR HACKPAD!!! i think i forgot to scrapbook yesterday because i thought of doing it, wrote the entry in my mind, and forgot i didnt write it in slack the lock in call really helped, i missed making the speed devboard tho 🥀 i just have to make one more t5 project and i might be able to go to prototype idk tho about my schedule and i still have to ask my parents for permission i finished two school projects, my health project and my photosynthesis biology project this took two nights of 2am sleep for some reason i feel more awake the later i sleep, i think im just weird 😛 i think i finally found my true friend group at school, they kept me motivated when i was locking in in all of my work at midnight 😄 discord is such a peak social media platform, no hate to slack ofc but its more of a workspace type thing, i love discord activities and all the fun little things in discord like soundboard and gifs i need to lock in for my ftc team, i need to cad a robot design for our qualifier soon, we are kind of a rookie team and we are all learning how to do all the robotics stuff like cadding, coding, 3d printing, etc while managing like a dozen other activities and school and everything 😞 i love onshape for cadding, sketching and extruding is just so satisfying

i also have to learn more godot so i can do well in skillsusa this year, hopefully nats?? and i need to make my ev build and ento binder for scioly 😛 ❤️ thats all for today i gotta sleep now ;)

Days 8-9 of 50 (I accidentally missed yesterday), I: • had a bunch of homework and stuff 🎒 • amongst the homework, I wrote a 2000 word (actually 1999 words) horror story for English

Day 9/50 Today wasn't very productive, But I've read a lot of docs about gowarc cuz I tried to make my scraper in Golang but it wasn't working on windows (cuz it was using /etc/resolv.conf), so instead of using my laptop (raaahhh debian 13 on top) I tried to fix the library and adding Windows support (which was unsuccessful) So today I've only added a config file to it, and refactored the depth system cuz it was weird and vibe-coded. I think the next step is to add threading to it so it would be even faster. I've also had to buy Andromaque for school today so I had to walk across Brest, uhhhh... Related to books I've continued to read Animal Farm, I'm pretty sure i'll finish it before the end of the year

*day 9/50* spent a bit writing a story for school, then wrote a bunch for README! I made an <Emoji> component to easily use Slack emojis in the writing, and did some of the "an attempt at an introduction" section.

day seven! this day was actually wild: • coded for 2.7 Hackatime hrs on the game (it might not seem like much, but considering I had training and school from 8:15AM to 3:45PM that's pretty crazy) • pretty cool training, getting ready for a race this saturday got a lot of progress on my game (which I'm doing together with @KittyCat -- she's doing the art and maybe some coding as well)

50 days challenge ❄️ Daily update <#C07TTG7NVPX|> | Streak: 8 days! Still sick, but I was able to get more accomplished today... Productive stuff I did for my goals • Edited a video I helped film and put together of a cultural celebration at my school and finalized it for posting on social media! • Planned application to a fun summer program. • Did a batch of calculus problems --- my math notes Google Doc hit 100 pages :0 • Did two practice exams in preparation for my chemistry midterm! That's 40 full-length problems across 100 minutes :3 (attached is a photo of some of my random scratch paper) • Went to my chemistry lab practical today, it went well! I got 100% on the post-lab assessment • Got caught up on some stuff in Hack Club • Uploaded news articles to a site and designed Instagram posts for a small news publication I help edit for! Nice stuff • I was checking university major requirements and found that on top of my existing reqs for engineering (which I know for sure I'm going to do) I just need to take 1 more class for a mathematics minor and 3 more classes for a mathematics major... should I do it to flex bruh (math is my least favorite subject but I find it funny and possibly a valuable degree)

day 7/50 again I didn't do much today beyond dragging myself to school and taking a calculus test. I think I did pretty well? I completely blanked on one of the differentiation problems at the end but everything else made sense. I did a bit of investigating for a C++ assignment that is coming up where we have to make an algorithm to execute the most optimal battleship moves and sink the opponents ships before their algorithm sinks ours. I have some interesting ideas on how to execute this (one being training a small ml model which would be hilariously overkill for this). We don't get the source code of the library that actually runs the battleship logic though so I did a bit of digging through ghidra to see if I can find anything useful. Didn't find much but it was fun to play with for sure.
