Finally getting to scrapbook this after a long time.. Made a website for a school competition my cs teacher wants me to do. Decided to integrate with arcade (competition submission, not project) The website is on the topic of Culture of India I made it with basic vanilla html/css and messed around with Simplemaps to get smth i liked. The website is live at this place and the source code is on github. Here are some photos lol:

I'd like to showcase two little PCB's I made the last couple days. First is my redesigned 7-40V to 5V regulator, which I had to remake after following a tutorial so that JLC could assemble it. That has since gotten the Onboard grant and is on the way! I also made a USB A or C input to 3 USB A and 1 USB C output hub, very roughly following Hack Club's USB Hub tutorial. I had to change out almost every header component multiple times to make it work, so I really hope it does. That project is pending approval by Onboard. Today, I did a quick research project to look at the sentiment of Project 2025, a conservative political document. I didn't end up getting very fruitful results, and I wasn't entirely sure if it would count for Hack Club, but here are the results: Mean Polarity: 0.07823441578370974 (Not very polarized, which seems strange considering this is a far right-winged political document) Mean Subjectivity: 0.3793216593277873 (More reasonable but I also expected this to be higher) github.com/CrazeXD/project-2025-sentiment

Do you wish your Arcade Ticket Counter (or Hack Hour Clock) did more? Introducing Arcade-WiFiClock, an alternative firmware for the Arcade Ticket Counter that turns your ticket counter into a WiFi-powered desk clock using NTP. This makes it super accurate and doesn't require resetting the time after a power/network outage. Massive thanks to @sam for helping me debug some major issues github.com/mikeymascatu/Arcade-WiFiClock

github.com/Aryanwin/FRC-test-code I'm working on building a baseline code for FRC, and I just finished setting up the part of the code that involvers interacting with hardware. This took me a while because I'm new to this, and Phoenix updated to Phoenix 6, so the older tutorials didn't work 😅. I got that set up as well as the rest of the software libraries (I think) at this point though, and it should be just building code from here.

Today, I finished my first real tkinter python project. It is a mathematical graph animator (input functions and it draws them linearly in a set amount of time). I was inspired by 3Blue1Brown's Manim (which I did not get close to beating in terms of overall code, etc..), you can find the app here: github.com/stefanlighezan/MathematicalVideoRenderer.

Day 23 of #arcade summer (probably, I've lost count by now): Continued working on my foot pedal macropad today, started printing the ring that will hold all the switches together and did some code refactoring. I realised I should probably add a window for the status led and a passthrough for the bootsel button in my cad model, I'll add that to my to-dos for tomorrow.

Gemini Chatbot Interface with Streamlit Overview This project is a Streamlit-based chat application that interacts with the Gemini AI model, allowing users to engage in conversations with an artificial intelligence assistant. The application stores chat history, allowing users to revisit and continue previous conversations. <https://github.com/Anushlinux/Arcade8/blob/main/docs/gemini-chatbot.gif| > Getting Started Dependencies This code uses the following libraries: • `streamlit`: for building the user interface. • `gemini`: for chat • Gemini API key: Get it from <https://ai.google.dev/tutorials/setup?hl=tr|Google AI Studio> Usage Follow these steps to set up and run the project: 1. Create a virtual environment: ```python3 -m venv myenv source myenv/bin/activate .\myenv\Scripts\activate

1. Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt

1. Run the Streamlit server:
streamlit run app_chat.py
1. Access the application in your browser at localhost:8501. 2. Start chatting with the assistant! github link: github.com/Anushlinux/Arcade_8

Here is my Slack automation project. Includes classes to start, pause/resume sessions, get remaining time of the session (using Slack api and not hack club's) and send messages in the session's threads. Hello! I recently created a String Art Generator on Blot! Using a custom a python program, you too can upload and paste an image of your own choosing into Hack Club's Blot editor, where the program will then generate a piece of string art! Making this algorithm was quite miserable 😅. Imagine spending 10+ hours debugging ~100 lines of code? Couldn't be me... It was pretty difficult for me - difficult enough where I didn't even bother logging arcade hours, as I would spend literally an hour arranging and rearranging a couple of lines of code, and then logging thousands of lines of output just to try and see why the string art generator wasn't working 😔 The experience was still super fun though, and I'd like to say I'm happy with the results :) github.com/James-Lian/blot-string-art-generator/tree/main See below for Mona Lisa.

This car uses wifi and an esp32 and esp8266 to control a 3d printed car, the car uses a small a12212 1000KV bldc motor and a simple 30amp esc with 12v hooked up. The ESP8266 serves as the receiver and gets the speed value and steering values using a potentiometer connected to the ESP 32, for steering I am using a simple mg90 servo, I have not printed it out to test but it should work with the code since I used a simulator to test it. The parts of the car are printed in PLA but the tires are made of tpu. I only used M3 screws in the design and some parts use threaded inserts to help with strength. github.com/arp2019-Dev/ESP-Car cad.onshape.com/documents/f94ac1cb8a78f7a78bf0a08a/w/8554dc6743a4683e5e414921/e/02aeb6010284afd92a8048ed

I created a pretty cool project management app! This is just an MVP containing the most important features, but later, you will be able to create work sessions, add due dates to tasks, create a schedule, and more! There is no live demo as of now, but you can check out the repo if you want to! Repo: github.com/my-hack-club-projects/project-manager

I've finally finished a major update to my smart digital clock! It now features a 3.2" TFT screen instead of a little 16x2 LCD display. I've also taken the time to optimise my code as much as I can. It's a lot more smooth now! You can take a look at my Github repo here: github.com/cabbagecultist/Digital_Clock/tree/tft. It also includes some showcase pictures!

I built a bi-gram Markov test generator which can be trained based on given text. It calculates the frequencies of words appearing after particular words and uses this knowledge to construct realistic looking text. I also built an API for it, so it can be used in future projects. Both the training code and API is in this repository: github.com/akshatk-khurana/Markov-Bigram-Text-Generator

Day 21 of #arcade summer: Yesterday and today I didn't do much, I tried starting building something with #blot but I kinda left it in the middle: A little generator for putting different kinds of borders around a post-it note for decoration, like you can do in pages in Word. Did a solid and a dashed line but not much else. Then I remembered I had another old project in the backlog, A pico-based macropad for your FEET! (Trust me it makes sense). I had designed and ordered some boards last year using the OnBoard grant, wrote some basic code and did most of the 3d modelling but left it at that. In this coming week I've left I'll try to make some progress in that front and try to finish it all off. Today I designed some bridge things to align all the footswitches together in a sort of arc on the floor so you can easily access them like you would with keys around the home row of a keyboard.

Today, I completed the installation functionality for my desktop wrapper of "croc", a file-transfer utility. I wrote it in GoLang, like the original package but with the added Wails library to access HTML/CSS/JS bindings for the design. Currently, it only has the ability to install croc, but eventually I will integrate the rest of the functionality that croc provides into the app. You can look at the source code here: www.github.com/CrazeXD/croc-desktop
