10-day streak
Alright so received my pincil today, and i forgot the actual solder... to solder my pcb... decided to try to make the keyboard anyway, seems like iit doesnt work, at least the firmware i flashed actually worked also did more research and decided to use rgfw since it only uses software rendering (i think?) which makes it use less then 50mb (41mb) for the optimise ysws, kinda sad i couldnt figure out how to turn on software rendering on the other libraries but whatever, ii gotta code something now!

I worked on making a basic package for hypridle, hyprlock, and grimblast for alpine linux since i'm planning to switch to it (soon) Finished the text editor tutorial. Now working on the project for the optimize ysws, I think i'll make a text editor, still choosing what framework/libraries to use. (right now in go but will probably change i'm really unsure)

Day 8 (i think) today i ate- okay we arent doing this learned/did a tutorial about making a text editor in the command line, did the tutorial from viewsourcecode.org/snaptoken/kilo (stoppeed near the end at 7. syntax highlighting) it was very interesting and kinda surprising because i thought there would be a more complex way to edit the text but no its just stored as an array of lines that can be modified, most of the thing is actually just making it work inside of a terminal tomorrow im going to finish this tutorial/thing then i'll brainstorm some ideas for the optimise ysws

so today i did more things so im pretty happy of myself!!! i finished my mouse case, its probably bad/not going to fit the bambu mouse for some reason, but i tried! (so the squeak ysws is approximatiely done, not submitted cuz im waiing for confirmation that my thing is good) now im trying to participate to the optimize ysws and will try to make a text editor! currently taking an online tutorial on how to make a text editor using c (very cool)

So, finished learning about onshape, and finally started doing the cad for squeak! here is apreview of it, its gonna be awesome cuz i'll ahve both a hackclub provided keyboard (hackpad) and a hackclub provided mouse (squeak if i get approved)

scrapbook day 5 didnt do much i woke up and fixed a few bugs/inconvenences with favoritemusicbadge (now automatically deletes the cloned git repo and doesnt error out if there is nothing to commit) i'll try to participate to the squeak ysws originally wanted to make this a freecad project, but it seems like i should use onshape instead, spend my whole day taking a boring tutorial on onshape

day 4, no pun here i need to go to sleep rahhhh worked this whole day on reamde, rushed everything, i am so tired because this is alr the start of a new day made a project codeberg.org/virtualfuzz/favorite_music_badge , it automatically parses your favorite music from youtube music and shows it as a badge on a repo, also automatically updates it if you make it run everyday (basically technically auto updates, technically doesnt), this is not getting published on ships because there are lots of finnicky things i really dont like its sleeping time now

day tree (three get it? no its a lame pun, okay..) finished learning about go (literally was bored reading text) and watching a few talks about go (while playing roblox so that wasnt productive) finally decided to work on a project, im going to be working on flit, which is a git copycat, that will be written in Go (wont be compatible with git repos because that was the original idea, but i dont know how to do that) started writing some code for flit, definitely very interesting writing in go, im not sure if its better then rust but coding in it seems pretty cozy (currently working on the flit init command, which is just like the git init command)

Today i received some of the the high seas things I ordered: • a lockpicking kit: had some fun with it, lockpicked my first locks today >:3 although they were very small locks, i should buy bigger ones • the github universe badge: went to the github website to flash my own badge, in the future i think i'll try to make some cool projects with that

Continued working on the hack assembler written in C (which I wish finished it today tbh), now can handle predefined symbols and labels. Every part except the empty lines have been compiled as expected. I just need to finish adding support for labels and variables and that should be everything... I told myself something similar 2 days ago when I didn't knew that I would need to implement variables... Essentially I hope I'm done by tomorrow, really hope I can participate into the advent of code this year...

My hack assembler now supports C instructions, which means that it now successfully compiles Add.asm, now I only need to implement symbols and labels right?

Working on dark mode support for my website I need to think about color schemes and im (kinda) struggling... Haven't finished everything so I haven't pushed it yet, but should probably be finished by tomorrow!

After I don't know how much time and 2 or 3 let's redesign this website, I finally finished it, and I finally learned how to use the scrap book thing. Also just realized now that you had to put it in the scrap book to get the arcade tickets... Yeah, my science professor was right about me not reading the instructions entirely... ash882.codeberg.page

Not so sure if that's the right way to do it for arcade but... Did more progress on my website! • Blog posts previews now show the starting text of the blog post (when you hover on one) • Refactored some stuff • Made tags more fancy • Fixed a last minute bug Ash882/personal-site#7592bf0ad9 • And probably some other miscalenous schtuff! codeberg.org/Ash882/personal-site
