my frame is (mostly) complete! i made the whole top hat for the printer, which will allow me to fully enclose it. The height is still a WIP, but i designed it to allow me to change one number to parametrically change everything else.

took a lil break from my 3d printer stuff to work on some fun makerworld/printables challenges. Developed all sorts of nifty 3d printed upgrades and gadgets. this is a collection of multiple projects because each one only took an hour or 2

Lots of work done today! After talking with some people I decided to redo the whole xy motion system. It is more compact, and space efficiant, along with having less issues. Additionally, I decided to add a second motor for each axis, and added the corresponding pulleys and belts. Had to learn how to loft here.
(lmk if you need anything else to verify hours)

Made lots of progress on my 3d printer! made these 5 new parts along with adding a color scheme to tie everything together. Really makes it look real now. Took me 2 hours, but i think it turned out well (3d modeling for 3dp parts is hard :/)
(first time doing this, hopefully i did this write for #scrapbook)
